As soon as several homes share 1 roof, there is a VVE by operation of law. The rules regarding the VVE are set out in the deed of division, model regulations or internal regulations. It is important to know which maintenance falls under the VVE and which under private. It is also important whether the VVE saves money for future maintenance and whether there is a multi-year maintenance plan (MJOP) and what the monthly service costs are and what it includes.
